Resin workshop

I did a 2 hour resin workshop in Sydney and came out with these pieces of jewellery. It was an enjoyable and surprisingly easy experience.

Art project finished

'There is no logic to human behaviour' 

A previous post shows 8 small collage artworks. Here is the finished work, 16 pieces that join together to form a whole. 

Rag Rug finally finished!

   What a lesson in patience and persistence. 

And Gemma the Collie loves sitting on it!

Rag Rug..to be continued

I have been making a rag rug from my old clothes. I used to take them to Vinnies but decided this time to make something useful out of them. It has taken me quite a while to get to this stage, plaiting and sewing onto the hessian but it gives me something for my hands to do as I am watching the TV. I will post a photo of the finished rug sometime in the not too distant future!

Small canvas art project continued

Woven basket

                     I made this woven basket at another weekend workshop at Hazelhurst gallery. I included emu feathers and wooden beads to the final row when completing the top row of the basket.
